The platform was built on Shopify and engineered for multi-regional deployment, with separate storefronts localized for individual markets including distinct currency handling, local payment methods, and region-specific logistics integrations. The infrastructure is designed to scale horizontally across new geographies without requiring a full rebuild. A key feature is the deals and promotions engine, which powers the flagship Evimki Deals and Crazy Offers sections. This module enables the merchandising team to schedule flash sales, apply percentage discounts at the collection or SKU level, and surface promotional items prominently on the homepage and category pages. Same-day delivery availability is surfaced dynamically based on customer location, and WhatsApp is integrated as a primary customer support and order inquiry channel — a critical feature for African markets where WhatsApp serves as the dominant platform for commerce.
