Klair was built from a specific frustration: most personal finance apps assume you live in one country, bank with one institution, and spend in one currency. For international freelancers, expats, and multi-currency earners — the exact users who most need financial clarity — these apps consistently fail. The core principle is privacy-first, no-bank-link tracking. Users add transactions manually or by photographing a receipt — the AI receipt scanner extracts merchant, amount, date, and category automatically. No bank credentials are ever requested, and no transaction data is sold to third parties. Financial data is encrypted in transit and at rest, protected by PIN-based account security. Multi-currency is a first-class feature, not a workaround. Klair natively supports TRY, USD, EUR, GBP, AED, SAR, EGP, QAR, JPY, CNY, and custom currencies — users can hold balances in multiple currencies simultaneously and see a consolidated net balance across all of them. This makes Klair genuinely useful for the growing population of professionals who earn in one currency and spend in another. The smart dashboard surfaces net balance, income total, spending total, and category breakdowns in a single view. A subscription tracker provides a consolidated view of recurring charges — one of the most common sources of invisible financial drain.
